I finally got around to sticking up some. DrownDrowning in a sea of darkness, Drowning and utterly helpless; Shrouded and painted in midnight, And no longer able to fight. Drowning in an ocean of rage, Keeping emotions in a cage; Hiding always, a demon’s spawn, Imprisoned in black hours ’fore dawn. Drowning in a sea of regret, Trying and failing to forget; Guilt overpowers my being, Cruel remembrance of the killing. Drowning in an ocean of blood, From my heart streams a scarlet flood; My façade crumbles, letting go, Surrender of my sanguine flow. Drowning in a sea of torment, Fainting and too late to lament; Life becomes merely a hindrance, Demise that causes no grievance. Trusted you but I was spellbound, And now, in silence, I must drown. A link to one of the poems I'm proudest of. It's a poem in prose. An oxymoron, I know, but read it and you'll see. www.fictionpress.com/s/1795553/1/

True As we sit here calmly, The sun is shining bright, Your kin it shines like diamonds, In the gleaming light.
In this circle meadow, This little peice of paradise, You take me to your spot to think, To me you are too nice.
I sit down, You lay beside me, You place your icy hand in mine, Just to let me see.
The diamond like skin you truly posess, That truly is your own, You tell me, Not a sole has ever known.
To know you feel the way to me, As I do to you, Makes me actually think, Our love may be true.
The fight begins in five minutes, This is what you tell me, About fifteen minutes later, You stiffen at what Alice sees.
Not even ten minutes after that, You're in a fight to save my life, And all I cn do to help you, Was hold up a knife.
I see a flash of bright red hair, Roll onto the ground, And then you set the purple flames, Everyone gaters 'round.
We go back to the others, To see if everythings okay, Someone who meens so much to me, Was almost taken away.
Then you are beside me, Comforting me with care, The only thing I couldn't see is, Was what was about to give me a scare.
The oldest family of your kind, Suddenley are there, Without an invitation, Suddenley I care.
I want you to be mine forever, To change my history, To never be getting old, But not to be the end of me.
I want to be the same me, Not to change much too, I still want to want the same things, One especially you.

Thinking of You
Whenever I think of you It makes me want to cry For you meant so much to me To that I cannot lie
You were always there when needed Right there by my side Whenever I think of you I cry I just want to run and hide
I've been holding it inside of me But now it's starting to show Whenever I think of you I cry Just wanted to let you know

Rain
Every time I see the sun I always think of rain Always thinking why the sun? Where is all the rain?
I look at the fluffy white clouds And miss the dismal grey I see the sun and wish That it was grey today
The white is overhead No chance for a nice rain I do not want these fluffy clouds They are like an annoying white stain.
Who really wants sun all the time When you can have the rain I know those who are like this But they love white so there is no pain
For them at least.

This one is once again not related to the Twilight series, but here it goes. . .
Why?
Why do people have to die?
You cry so hard, Your heart aches inside.
They say you return to him up above.
The one who has shown unconditional love.
But what of the people who die before their time?
Who got caught in crossfire, from someone else’s crime?
And what about those, whose lives are full of sh**
Who have nothing better to do, except lie in a ditch?
What about the people, who choose to drink and drive?
Not thinking about how it affects other people’s lives
And what of the teens who are abused at home?
Running around on the streets, their hope is all gone?
But then there are people, who do what if right.
The one’ who help others, fix up their lives.
Here’s to the good guys, standing out from the crowd.
Here is my thank you; I’m saying it out loud. ___________________________________________________________
Well this is a thank you to anyone who has ever tried to make someone else's life better.

Cry
I want so much to cry I really do try. But in two years I have not been able to cry.
Not a cut or bruise Inside or out Has been able to bring me tears Now I can't even fight the rest of my fears.
If only I could cry, my fears might follow my tears but they stay bottled up until they burst
I have not burst but I will soon. Now if I could cry I would cry till the new moon. __________________________________________________________________________
Here is to those who can't cry, or express their feelings right because of those they don't want to hurt.

Another one from yours truly. . .
"Surrender"
i had a some time, and chose to think. i looked at the bottle, and chose to drink. i looked back at memories, and laughed at your jokes. i looked at the pain, and started to smoke. i looked even further, and felt the pain. i watched myself cut, and slit a vein. blood all surrounding, death at the door. i begin cutting, and slashing somemore. i laugh menaically, with eyes open wide. i smile in the mirror and write my goodbyes. i'll write them blood, so you'll always remember, the day and the time, of the night i surrendered.
((I guess it's kinda depressing. . .but tell me. What do you guys think?))

Thank you. . . Some is from personal experience, and some was just because I was feeling really depressed when I wrote it. I'm really glad you like it. I love poetry and I'm guessing you do to. . . sadly mine is almost all depressing, but I'll keep posting because I've finally gotten some feedback. . .
"He Died in My Arms"
I hold you safely in my arms, and hold you close throughout the night. I look into your eyes once more, and hold you tightly to first light. You smile gently and touch my face, as my tears fall slowly to the ground. You tell me, it's going to be okay, as your heart beat fades with every sound. I know you're lying, but you want me to be strong. But I just can't do this, it feels so wrong. I bite my lip to stop from crying, and give you a small smile. My eyes are glassy from my tears, I just go into denial. I hold on tighter, not wanting to let go. I bury my face in your chest, and just continue to say no. Your chest stopped heaving, your heart is gone. Your time had came, you said so long. I cry silently, wishing you'll wake up now. But you won't wake up, you don't make a sound. So here in my arms, you died today. You left me here, you went away. I'm sitting here holding you, safe in my arms. I'm sitting here holding you, close to my heart...
