Don't worry. If I could, I would move into a Borders. Think about it, they have a cafe (food and drinks), bathrooms, movies, CDs, and thousands of books. All you do is pack a sleeping bag, a few changes of clothes and you're set! I wonder if they have employee showers because then they really do have everything...

I'm not old enough to work at a bookstore. Well, Chapters, to be more specific *sigh*
You'd think they'd let me, since I'm there almost every day anyway...

They said around 16 or 17, so two years for me! Oh well, I'm going to try to get a job at the library in September. It's the next best thing to a bookstore...

No one word posts. And I think we'd better get this back to topic.
Green Angel and The Foretelling by Alice Hoffman. Both excellent books and these are the YA titles she has out, that I know of.

I read Green Angel. It was a bit too weird for me... What's The Foretelling about?

It's set among the Amazons, this is the summary from Booklist: "Burdened by stigma (Rain was "born in sorrow" after the queen's rape) and by dark prophecies, the girl finds comfort in honing her battle skills and in developing friendships with other outsiders. After her mother dies bearing her second child, it falls to Rain to determine the future of her community--and her own."

cool anyway at least you guys have bookstores relatively near by i live in a village (not even big enough to call a town) all we have is our school library that only this year (due to new librarian) has been getting newer books other then that its all really old ones ha ha not much fun wish i could work at a book store though that would be like heaven i love being in there though every thing smells so prim and clean and new its just so nice

Oh yes, I love a new book smell.
Another book that I really liked was It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. It is a really funny story, though its about depression... This guy tries to kill himself and ends up at a mental hospital.
