Hello, everyone!
Warning: I can never tell short stories, so skip this if you're looking for a quick read!
I'm Holly, the girl who hates school fads just because everyone else likes them. For this reason when I heard a lot of kids from school talking about Twilight, I wanted nothing to do with it. After awhile, though, seeing nearly everyone walking around with the books I decided to ask one of my friends about it. Of course, it was just my luck the person I asked has completely opposite tastes as me and said she thought it was rather boring. Satisfied, I dismissed the books as unimportant and put them out of my mind... until I heard about the movie coming out. Now my curiosity was piqued, so I decided to just try it, promising to put it down if it was boring. So I borrowed a copy from a friend at lunch and only read the first chapter deciding the book was not for me: one of the worst mistakes of my life! The day before Thanksgiving I saw the book in the store by the checkout stand and picked it up to read the back (Can you believe it, I still didn't really know what the book was even about? Remember, the first chapter is the part where she first arrives in Forks, so I had no idea it was about vampires!) My mouth literally dropped open as I saw that it was 1) a vampire book, and 2) a romance. Score on both points! You can probably guess the rest: I bought the book, fell in love with it, watched the movie, fell in love with, started reading the next books... and now I'm here! Hooray!
Wow, that was really long! (Oops...) Oh, well, I hope you don't mind! Well, see you round!
