I love the twilight series because of their great mix of romance and fantasy. I like books like them in general. I'm happy if I have a human female and an undead male...

I really enjoy twilight and new moon because of how it's written. Even though it's an improbable situation, the books are written in such a way that it feels really realistic and believable. The characters, regardless of their origins are human and have personalities that really make them stand out from the rest and it's hard to ignore even the background characters. It just pulls you in and it's hard to resist not loving the series.
My best friend gave me twilight for my birthday after both she and another of my friends kept telling me many times over that I just had to read the book. I finished it within 24 hours of starting it and went out to buy new moon the next day.

The characters. I don't think Stephenie could make them any more real if she tried. ;D

There are so many good things about the books I don't even know where to start! I love how Stephenie Meyer makes everything so clear to see. I love the way she writes. Plus, I have a soft spot for fantasy/romance! The characters are amazing too. They seem so real... Even if they are vampires!

It's different from all the rest of your vampire stories. In stand of flying they flirt (Run really fast). Then turned into a romance novial too! Also, can't forget the hot vampires.

I really only have one friend who'll read whatever I read, and she like's Twilight and New Moon as well, but she's hardly obsessed with it like I am. I gave it to some of my sisters friends though and within a week when I went to ask for my book back they told me something along the lines of: "Oh I'm sorry, but my sister's best friend's cousin has your book a the moment. Can I give it back to you next week?"
And then because New Moon wasn't released in Australia - and still isn't mind you - I was the only person in an all girls school with a copy of the book. I lent it to the library so people could read it, expecting to get it back in a couple of weeks...not FOUR MONTHS. I swear, if I was charging money for how much I lent it out to people, I would have been one rich kid.

Oh wow, with my friends I never got it back later then a week. Still, my copy is so beat up I'm surprised it's still in one piece! I really need to buy a new copy. One of my friends has it at the moment and I really don't think she intends on reading it... And I want it back now! lol

Yes, well...I left my orginal copy of Twilight and New Moon on the other side of the globe - England to be exact - and I know that I'll never see it again. I'm just going to buy a new copy here when it comes out in June (I've already pre-ordered it and another Twilgight) so now it's just a matter of waiting.

I think what set it apart from all the other vampire books I've read was the uniqueness of these particular vampires. The fact that they could go out in the sun, sparking like diamonds was a picture that I could never get out of my head; the fcat that they are dead ( all the vampires I've read about, while still immortal, they could be killed almost just as easily as a human.) Not only that, but in all other stories about vampires, they were (rightly) arrogant about ignoring humans, using them as only a source on which to feed. This is one of the very few series on vampires I've read where vampires have even bothered to acknowledge a mortal outside their own coven.

My friend got me started, she knows i love to read books with a romance theme to it so she lent me her copy. after that i became obssessed with it. What i love about this book is the romance theme to it along with issues that we teens mostly encounter. when i read the book i could relate to it as if i was the one making those decisions, also i could see the happenings as if they were occuring in real lyf. for example, the forbidden love issue, friendships, being the new student, all of it happens to every one of us. so i thought if i could relate to it, what about others? so i started to endorse it to every people that i meet both inside and outside my school! the good news is that they all had the same reaction as i did! hehehe ;D
